Easy energy protein bites

Readily made energy balls are great for many reasons. I love eating them with a cup of coffee. But also, when in a rush, they can be a life-saving time saver. On top of that sometimes the heat makes me less hungry. When so is the case I pack these when I’m heading to the pool. It’s a great substitution for ice cream or M&M’s :).

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 2/3 cup coconut flakes
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

Directions

Mix all the ingredients together and make small bites, store in the fridge.
